We’re halfway through the second season of Into the Badlands and AMC announces we’re “heading deeper INTO THE BADLANDS” in 2018 with a third season.
AMC announced the renewal of Into the Badlands, one of the highest-rated cable drams for an expanded third season. The show will return in 2018 going from a 10-episode run to a whopping 16!
This renewal and increase in episodes should be well received by fans. According to an AMC press release, Into the Badlands created by Al Gough and Miles Millar, averages 3.6 million viewers per episode and is the networks fourth rated cable show following behind The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, and Fear the Walking Dead. And the stellar series is one of the top five scripted dramas on cable of the current television season.
Being one of the top five scripted dramas on cable is due in large part to how visually stunning the series is, on top of the intriguing storytelling, the fight sequences brought to screen by the amazing martial arts team lead by Master Dee Dee makes Into the Badlands a show like no other. We look forward to watching and live tweeting the remainder of season 2 with you and will impatiently await more goodness to come our way in 2018.
