How long will Annalise and the Keating 5 continue to get away with murder? Maybe not much longer… get a sneak peek of tonight’s HTGAWM, airing at 10pm ET|PT on ABC.
When it comes to How to Get Away with Murder, it is absolutely the case that the more we learn, the less we know! After we’re left thinking that Young Wes (possibly) murders his mother, we learn that in fact it is suicide!
In flashbacks to ten years ago, we see that Rose Edmond is continuously harassed by Annalise (who even sends Eve to threaten to have Rose deported). Rose grows frantic and tries to leave town with Christophe/Wes, who becomes frustrated with his mother and runs away. After another (not so) subtle threat from Mahoney Sr., Annalise goes to Rose’s apartment and tries to convince her to testify for Mahoney Jr. Rose’s response: “I was born free, I will stay free, so will Christophe… There’s no reason to hurt him now… Take care of my boy.”
And she stabs herself in the neck! Annalise, being the calculating lawyer she is, doesn’t end up calling 911 and leaves the apartment. It’s Christophe who finds his mother, removes the knife from her neck, and calls for help: “Something bad happened…”
But I still wonder what made Rose so distraught? Does she have a connection to the Mahoney family that we don’t yet know of? Did anyone else notice that the shock from Rose’s suicide seemed to trigger a problem with Annalise’s pregnancy?
And in the present, when Annalise goes to talk to Wes about his ongoing crisis, Phillip (hiding out in Wes’ apartment) grabs her! *GASP*
Tonight’s episode “There’s My Baby” (written by J.C. Lee and Erika Harrison, directed by Stephen Williams) is the last one before the Season 2 finale, and if you can believe it, things are getting even more crazy!
LOYALTIES IN THE KEATING HOUSEHOLD ARE PUT TO THE TEST—The Keating 5 are called into questioning by A.D.A Denver about the night Emily Sinclair was murdered. Meanwhile, Caleb goes missing as the manhunt for Philip intensifies. In flashback, Annalise’s tactics in the Mahoney case leads to a devastating result. (via ABC)
