WATCH: The DOMINION Season 2 Trailer is OUT; Plus NEW Recurring Characters Were Added

June 6, 2015 By T.J. Leave a Comment

Dominion season 2 is a little over a month away and trailer is OUT and it is AMAZING. Plus we found out new folks are coming to this Syfy supernatural drama series.

Images were all over the Interwebs from Cape Town, South Africa of production for the 13-episode second season of Dominion. Cast members Christopher Egan (Alex Lannen) and Tom Wisdom (Michael) blessed us with Twitter updates, but the thing the fans were waiting for was the Dominion season 2 trailer.

How much will have to be sacrificed? @DominionSyfy returns July 9! https://t.co/qU1sg1fWYe #Dominion

::SHIVERS:: The trailer for Dominion season 2 is the hotness. With Claire (Roxanne McKee) in control the sins of her father-in-law David (Anthony Head) will have consequences. Alex and Noma (Kim Engelbrecht) have new challenges they must face, and it appears Michael and Gabriel (Carl Beukes) will have another epic showdown. All in all, it looks like the second season of Dominion will be darker with even more action. I am ready for it and I am sure many of you are as well.

On top of what looks like an amazeballs Dominion season 2, we found out that the cast just got bigger. Joining Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale (General Edward Riesen), Anthony Head, Luke Allen-Gale (William Whele), Carl Beukes (now a series regular), and Shivani Ghai (Arika), are recurring guest stars Nic Bishop (Covert Affairs), Simon Merrells (Spartacus: War of the Damned), Christina Chong (24: Live Another Day), Olivia Mace (Doctors), and Luke Tyler (Chronicle).

In Dominion season 2, humanity continues its struggle against the archangel Gabriel and his army of angels. Alex journeys from Vega to the legendary city of New Delphi, a human enclave with a dark secret, hoping to secure a military alliance with its charismatic leader. Back in Vega, Claire Riesen faces a civil war, pitting her against the disgraced David Whele and his newfound rebel allies. While war rages in the few cities left on earth, Michael stumbles upon a mystery in the form of Mallory, a perfect small town seemingly untouched by mankind’s war with the angels.

NEW SEASON 2 CHARACTERS

– Nic Bishop portrays Gates, a brilliant but troubled military genius who helped build Vega into the stronghold it has become.

– Simon Merrells plays Julian, the cunning and powerful leader of New Delphi. Julian is a cryptic man with motives as questionable as his past and will go to any lengths to protect his city.

– Christina Chong is Zoe, a member of Vega’s Archangel Corps who defected to a rebel faction. Bold, fierce and scrappy, she’s a member of the poorest class that dwells in the city’s dangerous tunnels.

– Olivia Mace portrays Laurel, the steadfast leader of the small Southern town of survivors who have inexplicably managed to insulate themselves from the fallout of The Extermination War. Laurel is deeply devout to her religious faith and is unwavering in her resolve.

– Luke Tyler plays Pete, an energetic, bright, dynamic and eternally optimistic teenager who grew up in the apocalypse. He has only ever known a battle-torn world, so he has no memories of the peaceful past. (via Syfy/NBCUniversal)
