On June 20th NYC will be blessed with theCURVYcon, a day-long event that will bring plus size fashionistas, bloggers, and brands into one space to embrace all things curvy.
It is Saturday Shout-out time and my new obsession is theCURVYcon, brought to us by Chastity Garner and CeCe Olisa. theCURVYcon will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion West in NYC on June 20, 2015. As stated on theCURVYcon website, “theCURVYcon is a day-long event that will bring plus size Brands, Fashionistas, Shopaholics, Bloggers and YouTubers into one room, to chat curvy, shop curvy and embrace curvy. Come spend the day with us as we embrace our curves, do a little shopping, and tackle topics like confidence, fashion and style, health, fitness, dating, body positivity and everything in between!”
This EPIC event will feature speakers Amber Riley (theCURVYcon keynote speaker), Kierra Sheard, Gabi Gregg, Nadia Aboulhosu, Crissle West, Amanda Allison, Chante Burkett, Alexandra Thomas, Kellie Brown, Essie Golden, Jessamyn Stanley, Marcy Guevara, Sabrina Servance, Rochelle Johnson, Kelsey Miller, Ty Alexander, Sarah Vargas, and Sarah Conley.
Not only will you be able to mingle with other lovely individuals, but you can shop, shop, shop. Throughout the event theCURVYcon mall will be open and you can purchase goods from ideel, Eloquii, eleven60, and more. theCURVYcon tickets begin at $99 and it looks like it will be money worth spent.
