Preview tonight’s all new episode of The Originals, “Chasing the Devil’s Tail,” which airs at 8:00pmET on The CW.
We have less than two hours to go before tonight’s all new episode of The Originals, and as usual, we have some awesome sneak peeks for you! Before we dive in, I just want to quickly highlight two “OMG”/jaw-dropping moments from last week’s show.
First, I’m pretty sure my heart and tummy both tried to jump out of my body when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) met his biological father! I couldn’t believe Lenore/Esther (Sonja Sohn) would actually bring Papa Ansel (Lloyd Owen) back from the other side! I don’t know that I fully trust Ansel or believe Esther’s plan to make Klaus 100% werewolf so her can be with his biological dad, but this definitely complicates things.
Second, does anyone else think that Esther’s older sister, Dahlia (Kristin Erickson), is going to be showing up soon??? Apparently, she’s entitled to the first born in every generation. And contrary to what Esther believes, Hope is alive! DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!

Klaus searches for an antidote when he discovers Elijah has been afflicted by Esther’s magic; Hayley teams up with Klaus, Marcel, Cami and Josh in an attempt to take down Vincent; Vincent and Kaleb reconsider their strategies; Kaleb lets Davina in on some secrets from his past and brings her to a place he frequented in 1914. As usual, producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci take us behind the scenes of tonight’s episode. First, Julie and Michael discuss Cami’s (Leah Pipes) decision to go after Vincent/Finn (Yusuf Gatewood), now that she knows he’s a Mikaelson. They also give us a look into Klaus’ attempts to save Elijah (Daniel Gillies) while also dealing with his biological father showing up. Two sneak peeks also give insight into those two developments:
SAVE ELIJAH! I also really want to be able to trust Ansel, even though Klaus doesn’t. Maybe he’ll be able to prove himself…? Additionally, I’m nervous for this game Cami is playing with Vincent/Finn…
