Hi there! We’re T.J. and Funmbi, and we’re very glad to welcome you to We So Nerdy!
We first met in 2011 at San Diego Comic-Con International and from first sight, this was a friendship match made in fangirl heaven. We’ve each been part of several fandoms (e.g., Dr. Who, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Wars, Marvel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/ANGEL, *NSYNC, The Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Merlin). One night in June 2013 over several glasses of peach vodka and sprite (NOM), we wondered to ourselves, “wouldn’t it be nice to have a place where we could share our nerdy fangirl flails with the world?” And We So Nerdy (WSN) was born!
We hope to connect with old and new friends as we articulate our love of books, TV, film, fashion, technology, and more. We don’t discriminate–fangirls and fanboys of all shapes, sizes, colors, and passions should join us!
