Lionsgate released the official The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 franchise logo, ‘REMEMBER,’ which will play alongside The Divergent Series: Insurgent in theaters. Also get a first look at Mockingjay Part 2‘s teaser poster and tagline.
These last few weeks have been great for fans of Divergent! Between the teasers, interviews, and premiere events, it’s been great to see the cast and creators out and about promoting The Divergent Series: Insurgent. Of course, the film premiered this past weekend and was the #1 grossing movie in the world! How many times have you seen Insurgent?
Well, the great thing about being a fangirl/fanboy is being part of multiple fandoms. So color us surprised when during the previews before Insurgent, we got a teaser of what’s to come with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2! The official franchise logo, ‘REMEMBER’ will be playing alongside Insurgent in theaters. However, if you haven’t had a chance to see it on the big screen, you can check it out below.
The video takes us through the evolution of Katniss and the mockingjay, starting with Katniss’ first trip to the Games in the first film, and culminating with the mockingjay breaking free of it’s bonds in the upcoming final installment of the film:
*SHIVERS* It’s so amazing to take that trip down memory lane and remember all the pivotal moments that brought our favorite characters (and us) to this point. And now with Mockingjay Part 2, thinking about the obstacles that still lie ahead make me so sacred/nervous/excited!
Lionsgate also shared a new teaser poster (below) with Mockingjay Part 2‘s tagline, “The fire will burn forever”:
