Diggle is suiting up in more ways than one AND it’s time for ATOM v. ARROW!!! Get your sneak peek with video and photos into tonight’s episode of Arrow airing on The CW at 8/7c.
Season 3 of Arrow hasn’t pulled any punches when it comes to delivering fans the goodness in the forms of great story lines and canon characters from the DC Comics series Green Arrow. Last week on episode 16, “The Offer,” Michael Amar/Murmur (Adrian Glynn McMorran) came into Starling City wrecking havoc. Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team not only needed to deal with Murmur, but Oliver was contemplating if he is going to take Ra’s al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) “offer” to take over his legacy. While Oliver is hemming and hawing about his decision and having anyone with an inkling of an idea about his pickle of a predicament telling him to turn it down. We have Malcolm (John Barrowman) providing Oliver the only sane advice, Ra’s al Ghul didn’t offer you this role, he demanded it of you and he will make a way for this to happen. And low in behold, Malcolm was correct, Ra’s al Ghul shows up in Starling City and takes out Murmur and his crew dressed as Arrow. He left a sole member of the brood behind to tell everyone who killed them all… “Arrow”.
Meanwhile, Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) who is still rightfully pissed that Laurel didn’t inform him that Sara had been murder has decided to cut her out of his life. Making way for Nyssa (Katrina Law), who has returned to Starling City, after her father chose Oliver to take over his legacy to bond with Laurel/Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) over Sara and their current father issues. Laurel and Nyssa aren’t the only ones in the midst of turmoil with their fathers. Thea (Willa Holland) is task to watch over Malcolm as he recovers from the royal beat-down he received courtesy of Ra’s al Ghul and the League of Assassins. As he recovers in the loft Thea can’t get over the mental stumble and end his life. For the fans this is fantastic news, because what will Arrow be without Barrowman perfection.
