VIDEO: NETFLIX Releases New ‘House of Cards’ Sneak Peek

February 16, 2015 By Funmbi 5 Comments

Things are pretty tense between Frank and Claire in the latest House of Cards Season 3 preview. House of Cards returns February 27, 2015 on NETFLIX.

We’re 11 days away from being able to power-watch all 13 episodes of House of Cards‘ third season, and I couldn’t be more excited. Some were even able to get a glimpse into season 3 during Netflix’s accidental leak last week. Though I was not part of that crowd, I have no trouble believing the the upcoming shows will be worth the wait!

When Netflix released the first official trailer during the Golden Globes, we got some insight into Frank’s (Kevin Spacey) life as president. We saw scenes of him in the Oval office, addressing the press, sitting down with ambassadors, and more. It really looked like Frank and Claire (Robin Wright) were holding things together, even though the stakes are incredibly high. Well, in this latest preview released earlier today, it seems that the quest for vengeance has driven a wedge between them.

Frank and Claire are sitting down to take their official portrait, which looks innocuous enough—that is until she visibly flinches away from him when he tries to touch her shoulder for the pose:

I wonder what’s going on?! These two have always been on the same page, so what could have possibly come between them. You know, as I go back and watch the first trailer, Claire and Frank do seem to have gone their separate ways. I can’t wait to find out more!

Remember you can get ready for February 27 by streaming the first and second seasons of House of Cards right now on NETFLIX.

This Emmy-winning original thriller series stars Golden Globe winner Kevin Spacey as ruthless, cunning Congressman Francis Underwood, who will stop at nothing to conquer the halls of power in Washington D.C. His secret weapon: his gorgeous, ambitious, and equally conniving wife Claire (Golden Globe winner Robin Wright). (via NETFLIX)
