I’m not ready to let Marvel’s Agent Carter that airs on ABC on Tuesday nights go. Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) at the beginning of the season was working without a SSR directive to find out who framed her friend Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). As the season progressed and those good ol’ boys within the SSR found out how more than capable Peggy was they had to let her shine in the field. They might have done so begrudgingly and with many misogynistic comments as possible, but they did.
Last week on Marvel’s Agent Carter, season 1, episode 5: “The Iron Ceiling,” Peggy and Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) go to Russia on a mission and meet up with Dum-Dum Dugan (Neal McDonough) and the Howling Commandos. They come upon the Red Room Academy where Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan) (and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson)) were trained. Seeing Peggy work so seamlessly with the Howling Commandos made me wish that Marvel’s Agent Carter devoted more time to this story line. Regardless, in the end of “The Iron Ceiling” Peggy saved Jack’s life, so we will see if he treats her any better in the future.
Tonight on Marvel’s Agent Carter, season 1, episode 6: “A Sin to Err” directed by Stephen Williams,
Peggy discovers the shocking truth about Leviathan but doesn’t realize that her true enemies are even closer than she imagined. Meanwhile, Souza (Enver Gjokaj) is close to confirming the truth about Peggy and may just put her in the crosshairs of the SSR. (via ABC)
Now let’s get a sneak peek into the “A Sin to Err” with two video clips and promotional images from the episode. In the first clip Peggy is about to be arrested by the SSR or is she! The English-team-fighting-duo of Peggy and Jarvis (James D’Arcy) are BACK! Followed up by a clip of Peggy attempting to hide Captain America’s blood when Souza and Thompson come to search her apartment. The promotional images from “A Sin to Err” spotlight Peggy Carter, Dottie Underwood, Daniel Sousa, Angie Martinelli (Lyndsy Fonseca), and Rick Peters as Dr. Honicky.
