PHOTOS: Preview ‘Scandal’ Season 4, Episode 11 “Where’s the Black Lady?”

February 5, 2015 By Funmbi Leave a Comment

Preview Scandal season 4, episode 11 “Where’s the Black Lady?” with photo and video sneak peeks. The new show airs Thursday, February 5 at 9:00pm ET|PT on ABC.

Where in the world is Olivia Pope? Well, it turns out that even after last week’s mid-season premiere, we still don’t really have an answer to that question!

As promised “Run” began by taking us back to the last 25 seconds of November’s fall finale. Liv (Kerry Washington) was doing her Team Olivia dance and the we saw (repeatedly and in slow motion) her be abducted by a man in a mask. When Jake (Scott Foley) returned to the living room and saw Liv was gone, he took off running down the staircase and outside to chase down a car he believed was driving away with her in it. He then came back to the apartment, called Huck (Guillermo Diaz) and Quinn (Katie Lowes), confirmed that Liv wasn’t on an island with some other man (*giggles madly*) and then left the building to presumably track Liv down.

Of course when we came back to Liv’s POV we saw that she hadn’t left the building at all. Her captors, who were holding her at her  neighbor’s apartment, killed the  neighbor and then smuggled Liv out of the building and then out of the country…at least that’s what we thought and might actually still think…

When Liv woke up, we believed her to be in the Middle East or somewhere with a prominent Muslim community. She was imprisoned with Ian McLeod (Jason Butler Harner) a journalist who was a little cagey, but gave us no reason to doubt him up front. And from that point, Liv was determined to free herself and certain that Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and/or Jake would find her. After a series of bathroom breaks, resourceful uses of bra underwires, and a dream of Liv in Vermont with Fitz (be still my Fitzlivia-loving heart), she was finally able to disarm her captors and unlock the red door. And she was free…

…until we saw that Liv was actually being kept on some sort of soundstage and “Ian” was actually the man behind her abduction! “We have a lot of work to do,” Ian said…and I have absolutely no idea what that means.

In tonight’s episode “Where’s the Black Lady?” written by Raamla Mohamed and directed by Debbie Allen:

With Olivia still missing, the team comes together to do whatever it takes to find her and get her home safely. (via ABC)

I still have so many questions, as I’m sure we all do. Besides finding out WHERE Liv is, how long has she been gone? VP Nichols (Jon Tenney) is part of this somehow and we know he wants Fitz to declare war with West Angola, but why? What does he stand to gain from war? Who is Nichols working with/for? And will Liv actually be safely returned?

Take a look at the promo/TV spot for tonight’s episode which features Liv recording a video holding a newspaper and making Ian’s demand for a war declaration:

WOWSA, what will Fitz do now??? Check out these images from the upcoming show and make sure to tune into ABC at 9:00pm ET|PT tonight for the new episode.
