Four weeks ago we begin a trip into the fairy-tale themed, musical, comedy extravaganza Galavant. This funny, spectacular, mid-season replacement TV series was brought to us by ABC, Dan Fogelman (creator, writer, and executive producer), Alan Menken (executive producer, composer, and songwriter), and Glenn Slater (executive producer and lyricist). Galavantstars Joshua Sasse as Galavant, Mallory Jansen as Madalena, Timothy Omundson as King Richard, Vinnie Jones as Gareth, Karen David as Isabella Luke Youngblood as Sid, with special guest appearances throughout the season from John Stamos, Ricky Gervais, ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, and Rory Wilton.

Galavant drums up a new plan to win freedom for himself and his fellow prisoners, which involves gaining King Richard’sconfidence using his wits. Isabella believes that he can do it, but is her faith in him warranted? And will Galavant and Isabella finally kiss? (via ABC)
