His Dark Materials is almost here!
We’ve been so excited for this series since it was announced. That excitement leveled up at SDCC when we saw footage in Hall H, and now we’ve gotten another trailer to enjoy? Thank you!
In this one, we get a little more details of what Asriel found while on exhibition in the north. Not to mention, Lyra and the alethiometer. The trailer also shows a deeper connection between Asriel and Marisa Coulter, including how the Magisterium wanted her to keep him in check. It also delves into the connection between Coulter and Lyra. Fans of the novels will already be well-versed in these connections and what they mean for the series.
Oh, and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Lee Scoresby introduces Iorek Byrnison in a super badass way.
