Gotham is back and tonight we are going into the Arkham Asylum with James Gordon. So get your sneak peek into the mid-season premiere of Gotham airing on FOX at 8 PM (ET|PT).
Part 1 of the premiere season of Gotham ended on November 24, 2014 and the highs and lows of the first half of the season left us with a bang in Gotham, episode 10, “Lovecraft.” In “Lovecraft” an assassin dupes Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) and makes her way into Wayne Manor in the hopes of killing Selina Kyle/Cat (Camren Bicondova). During and epic battle between Alfred and the assassin (Lesley-Ann Brandt) we see that Alfred is no slouch in hand-to-hand combat, which leads way for Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Selina to make off into the Gotham City underground to hide out until it’s safe. While hiding out Bruce gets to see firsthand how Selina makes her way on the city streets, Detective Gordon (Ben McKenzie) confronts Lovecraft after he finds out that Harvey Dent (Nicholas D’Agosto) leaked some vital information. Lovecraft reveals this whole mess from the Wayne killings and more is beyond them and is so very far-reaching. We also get to see new buddy-cop duo Gordon and Pennyworth attempt to get to the bottom of who is out to kill Selina. Seeing Pennyworth and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) interact in her club had my upper lip sweating and letting the world know I ship them. In the end, Alfred and Bruce reunite, Selina slips away, and Detective Gordon is on the wrap for Lovecraft’s death. Gordon is stripped of his Detective status and has to take a job at Arkham Asylum as a security guard.
This all leads us to tonight’s mid-season premiere of Gotham, episode 11, “Rogue’s Gallery.” In “Rogue’s Gallery” as James Gordon begins his job as a security guard at Arkham Asylum a guard is murder. Also, Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) is attempting to establish a larger crew, but Don Sal Maroni (David Zayas) is not to happy about the prospect. In Gotham, “Rogue’s Gallery” Firefly, V, and The Red Tent alum Morena Baccarin guest stars as Dr. Leslie Thompkins.
In the below sneak peek videos we see Detective Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) is causing drama at Arkham Asylum, followed up by Don Maroni letting Oswald Cobblepot know of his displeasure with him. Then in the third sneak peek video Selina Kyle finds and ill Ivy Pepper (Clare Foley) in streets, followed up with Oswald Cobblepot pleading with Detective Bullock to provide him some assistance.
