I’ve heard about this show for the last couple of months, but I hadn’t looked into yet. I knew the basics. It’s based on the extremely beloved novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman and it will star Michael Sheen and David Tennant. That alone had me telling myself I really needed to check it out.
Then the trailer came out, and I made myself sit down and watch it. Now, I’m in love!
It’s so funny and irreverent! The cast is freaking insane, and anything that makes my Twitter timeline drag folks for thinking the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse can’t be anything other than white dudes is worth my time. In other news, I feel like I need to read this novel immediately to get lost in the epic, buddy cop-ish feeling of Aziraphale and Crowley, trying to save the world.
Also, I’m pretty sure the soundtrack is going to be awesome.
