Favorite summer drink?
Mia: Non-alcoholic: Water with lemon! Alcoholic: Sauvignon Blanc
Ideal summer vacation?
Mia: Touring somewhere old with lots of history, preferably on the water so I can dine overlooking the sea. I’m not much of a beach-goer, but I do like to be near the ocean.
Go-to summer clothing item?
Mia: Cotton T-shirts (and jean shorts).
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 items would you have to have?
Mia: Sunscreen, a box of matches, and a book.
What character in your new novel would you like to hang out with this summer and why?
Mia: Definitely Jessie! I share her love of history and would love to talk about it for hours!
