VIDEO: Sneak Peek into ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ S6, E8

Get a sneak peek into The Vampire Diaries, season 6, episode 8, “Fade Into You,” airing tonight on the CW at 8 PM ET/PT.

Last week on The Vampire Diaries, season 6, episode 7, “Do You Remember the First Time?” we saw Damon (Ian Somerhalder) making all efforts to have Elena (Nina Dobrev) remember their epic love that she had Alaric (Matthew Davis) compel away. Sadly, it didn’t work and Delena is no more. However, the fans wanted a #DelenaRainKiss and they got one. 

I’m not a huge Delena fan, but I can totally appreciate the Delena Rain Kiss because it led to an EPIC Bamon scene. That’s right folks, Damon now knows that Bonnie (Kat Graham) is alive. YES!!! Upon his grieving for the end of Delena, Damon stumbles upon Miss Cuddles, the teddy bear Bonnie transported to the present. Seeing this moment produced ALL THE FEELS.

All while this drama is going on in present day Mystic Falls, Bonnie in the time loop is being the badass that she is and has prevented Kai (Chris Wood) from escaping the prison the Gemini Coven set-up for him. Bonnie hid her magic in Miss Cuddles and now her future boo (Damon) has it. Damon better take good care of that teddy bear as he makes every effort to bring Bonnie home. One key thing that was confirmed in “Do You Remember the First Time?”, Dr. Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) is indeed Kai’s sister. Can’t wait to see how this will play into Bonnie getting home.

Caroline and Elena host Friendsgiving at the dorm and receive news about the Gemini Coven; Tyler tries to help Liv after she and Luke reveal some disturbing information about their witch lineage and the impending plans their coven has for them; Jo reveals some painful details about her past; and Kai makes a dangerous discovery that brings him one step closer to his release.
