Outlander Season 2 is coming to Digital HD and blu-ray/DVD next month! Get details about all the special features, plus watch one of the bonus deleted scenes.

We’ve known for awhile now that Outlander’s Season 2 soundtrack will be released on October 28. For more details, including the tracklisting, see our post HERE.
However, things have been mum in terms of when we could expect bring all of Season 2’s episodes home on digital HD/blu-ray.
Well, last week Buzzfeed gave us a huge treat!
First, they shared that Outlander Season 2 will be released on digital HD on Monday, October 31, and on DVD/blu-ray the following day on November 1.
According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, the DVD will include all 13 episodes, and special features:
- Deleted Scenes
- Gag Reel
- “From Book to Screen: Discovering the Differences” featurette
- “The Characters of Season 2” featurette
The blu-ray will have all of the above, plus:
- Audio Commentary (Ronald D. Moore on each one, plus Diana Gabaldon and others on selected episodes)
- “Costuming From France to Scotland” featurette
- “Designing The Sets: A Tour de Sites” featurette
Amazon is also offering a special Collector’s Edition Blu-ray, including:
- Collectible Box
- 32-page book with photographs and behind-the-scenes sketches
- Exclusive sneak peek from Book 9, Diana Gabaldon’s forthcoming book in the Outlander series
- Bonus disc with 20 minutes of exclusive added value content
- $75.99
Finally, and even more exciting, Buzzfeed shared an exclusive first look at one of the deleted scenes that will be in the special features!
The scene is from “La Dame Blanche” (Episode 204), after Claire has told Jamie that Black Jack Randall is still alive. Jamie is on his way to meet Prince Charles at Maison Elise and Claire walks in on an interesting conversation about which lady he plans to patronize:
