It’s no secret that I adore the Harry Potter universe, and I can’t wait for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to hit theaters on November 18th! Before their SDCC appearance, Warner Bros. released this stunning poster!
Leading up to the release of the new trailer, Pottermore debuted several clips of the fantastic beasts that are featured in the film and gave us their names along with their magical abilities.
If you’ve been following Pottermore, you know that we have a lot more information about the American wizarding school, Ilvermorny, and where it’s based. You probably also know of its four houses: Thunderbird, Horned Serpent, Wampus, and Pukwudgie (<--that's me!). You can find out more HERE.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes us into 1920s New York, mere hours from Ilvermorny. We probably won’t see the wizarding school but wouldn’t that be cool if we did? In the new trailer, we see Newt’s attempts to gather up the creatures that escaped his case. They’re causing some serious havoc and No-Majs are being exposed to the magical creatures.
