The 80’s kid in me is loving the promo for X-Men: Apocalypse so deeply! The teasers featuring the 1980s series In the Footsteps Of…En Sabah Nur and the TV infomercial for Charles Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters have all the awesome cheesiness I remember from 1980’s television.

One of the shows I remember my parents watching at that time was Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous with Robin Leach. So it shouldn’t surprise us that the most recent X-Men: Apocalypse teaser would include a play on this.

In Fables of the Flush & Fabulous, Mr. Leach presents an exclusive look into the home of the world’s most prominent mutant expert, Professor Charles Xavier. In the preview below, we get a rare glimpse behind Xavier’s golden gates, his extraordinary estate, as well as its uncanny students…

*giggles* That was such great throwback!

According to the commercial, the full episode will be available this Friday, May 27, the same day that X-Men: Apocalypse is out in theaters ?

Remember, you can pre-order your tickets today:  http://fox.co/XMenTix .

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
