En Sabah Nur Triggers End of Days in ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ Trailer

March 18, 2016 By Funmbi 1 Comment

20th Century Fox releases a brand new trailer X-Men: Apocalypse, where mutants are again divided in a battle over humanity’s fate.

Yesterday 20th Century Fox released a brand new trailer X-Men: Apocalypse, which is sure to be one of this summer’s blockbuster hits!

In the trailer, we see the rise of En Sabah Nur/Apocalyse (Oscar Isaac), which once again leads to a divide between Charles (James McAvoy) and Erik (Michael Fassbender) with a battle over humanity’s fate.

Apocalypse is determined to reclaim his role as the one, true leader of all mutants, and he has his Four Horsemen at his side: Magneto, Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), and Angel (Ben Hardy). It doesn’t surprise us that world domination is their end game, human beings be damned. However, Professor X, Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Hank/Beast (Nicholas Hoult), and young Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), and Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) join together to save the world.

Watch the trailer below:

Only the strong will survive…

Apocalypse is strong, but I’m really hoping the X-Men will be stronger!

Check out some screencaps from the trailer and make sure to share your thoughts about the new trailer in comments!

X-Men: Apocalypse arrives in theaters May 27, 2016.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
