AMC releases the first four minutes of the Season Six midseason premiere, “No Way Out”, from its hit show, The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead is finally back and premiering on Valentine’s Day! Nothing says love like blood, guts, and anxiety attacks. AMC recently released the first four minutes of the midseason premiere, so take a deep breath and watch!
So, it’s not necessarily four new minutes, but more of an extended ending to the mid-season finale back in November, but it’s setting the stage for what’s to come.
As producer Scott Gimple said, “His name has been invoked.” Negan is officially here, or at least, we know that he’s coming, and fans of the comic or just fandom people know that Negan isn’t someone you want to tangle with. He’ll make the Governor and Gareth look like bumbling villains compared to his intense form of charismatic violence.
As many of you noticed in the trailer, someone put their hands on Daryl, which is a major no-no. Sasha and Abraham are still having this odd chemistry that I’m trying to get used to, and Abraham got to use his brash demand of who their leader is calling us back to his “Who’s Deanna?” moment in Season 5.
All the while, I was strangely intrigued with the motorcycle gang’s leader. He’s sorta sassy and fun, right?
Questions remain, though.
Will Daryl take out the guy in the back and use the rocket launcher that Abraham found in 6A?
Will random motorcycle minion shoot Abraham and/or Sasha?
Will our group be forced to lead them back to Alexandria?
Will motorcycle and crossbow thief Dwight and his lady friend show back up and save them?
Will Jesus show up? (Jesus from comic book character.)
Right now, everything is up in the air, and I don’t know about you, but I’m still worried about Sam blowing the group’s cover back in Alexandria. The last time we saw them, they were walking hand-in-hand through a herd, and he wasn’t dealing so well.
Check out the official stills from the episode below. I spy a Father Gabriel that seems out of place. What could this mean for our repentant man of God? Members of the cast and the show’s producers have told us repeatedly that 6B will be bloody. Who do you think will be biting the dust in the mid-season premiere?
