One of the best parts of last week’s Once Upon a Time episode is watching the SwanQueen duo in action. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I totally understand Regina’s less than enthusiastic feeling toward Emma. Like her mother before her, Emma has made life, love, and a happily ever after much more difficult for Regina to attain. Of course Emma doesn’t do this on purpose, but regardless, actions have consequences. However, in the face of an even bigger villain like the Snow Queen, Regina is able to put her disdain aside and join with Emma and Elsa too! I also really enjoy the SwanQueen heart-to-heart at the end of the episode. With these three women on the case, they’re sure to track down the Snow Queen soon enough, especially now that we know her previous connection to Emma!
In tonight’s episode, “Family Business”:
…the race is on to track down the elusive Snow Queen, who was once a foster mother to a young Emma ? whose memories of this event have been erased ? in order to discover what her ultimate end game is for Elsa and the residents of Storybrooke. Unaware that she does not possess the real blade that controls The Dark One, Belle attempts to use it to get her reluctant husband to show her where the Snow Queen is hiding. Meanwhile, back in the past, Belle travels to Arendelle and, with Anna’s help, seeks out Grand Pabbie to help her regain her lost memories in order to discover the fate of her mother. (via ABC)
Check out two clips from the episode: in the first, we see a flashback to Anna and Elsa reuniting in Arendelle, where the Snow Queen is making herself at home. And in the second video, Belle is going to go after the Snow Queen and will do anything to get Rumple to help her…even using the dagger to compel him.
Oh my…why is Belle so insistent on stopping the Snow Queen? What was Belle doing in Arendelle and how does she know the Snow Queen? And do you think Rumple will confess that Belle doesn’t actually have the real dagger?
And as an extra bonus, earlier this week writer/producer Adam Horowitz revealed that we’ll be meeting another of our favorite Frozen characters in tonight’s Once Upon a Time–Oaken!
