On October 20, the Burnt cast attended a joint press conference in New York City, moderated by chef Mario Batali. See 15+ photos, watch the full conference and final trailer, then reserve your tickets today!
Bradley Cooper’s latest film Burnt comes out THIS Friday (October 30) and the cast has been making the rounds for movie promo! For example, Bradley made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live; he, Sienna Miller, and Daniel Bruhl were on the TODAY Show last Friday, while Uma Thurman sat down with TODAY‘s Natalie Morales just yesterday. (Click on the links to watch the full interviews!)
Well a week ago on October 20, the Burnt cast also attended a joint press conference at The London Hotel in New York City. Bradley, Sienna, Daniel, Uma, and Sam Keeley were joined by world renowned chef Mario Batali, who moderated the panel (Chef Batali was also a consultant on the film). At the press conference, the starts talked about what drew them to the film and their personal love of food. The cast also talked about portraying the relationships between a chef (Bradley) and his team, as well as filming intense scenes that reflect the passion and pressures within the industry.
One of my favorite moments is when Chef Batali likens watching a chef at work to watching porn (LOL!):
“It’s really fun and really relaxing to watch someone who really knows what they’re doing, do it. Even if you never intend to ever do it just like that. Like porn. You just happen to watch it and I’d never do it like that but I’d probably watch it again and it’s the same thing with food…so of course chefs are [rock stars].”
Thanks to The Weinstein Company, we have 15+ photos from the press conference to share with you. Additionally (courtesy of The Weinstein Company, via Hey You Guys), you can watch a video of the entire event below:
Remember Burnt hits theaters nationwide this Friday, October 30, so reserve your tickets today!
***(Update 10/29/2015): Get one last sneak peek into the kitchen of Chef Adam Jones and meet Burnt‘s characters and stellar cast in the final trailer:
Chef Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) had it all – and lost it. A two-star Michelin rockstar with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star though, he’ll need the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller). BURNT is a remarkably funny and emotional story about the love of food, the love between two people, and the power of second chances.
