News broke today that the season premiere of The Flash was the most watched show in The CW Network’s history. The premiere (City of Heroes) which aired on October 7th, has been viewed approximately 13 million times across varying platforms. Whoa!!! I was certainly one of those individuals who watched the premiere repeatedly. It was just that amazing. Kudos to the cast and crew on their success. I believe that things are just going to continue to get better and better for this show.
I’ve been itching for The Flash, Episode 4 “Going Rogue” since I learned that Wentworth Miller would portray Leonard Snart/Captain Cold. I’ve been a major fan of his since he played Adam on Popular. Even though I have a limited knowledge about DC Comics The Flash, I do believe Wentworth will be an excellent Captain Cold. And I’m beyond ready to see what he will bring to the show.
According to the episode summary from TV Guide in “Going Rogue”,
The Flash battles Captain Cold after the villain is involved in a robbery and plots to steal the Kahndaq Dynasty Diamond. The evil plans get a boost when the Captain gets his hands on a stolen “cold gun” that could kill the Flash. (via TV Guide)
Once again Barry (Grant Gustin) will face another villain that has the ability to take him out. Can’t wait to see how the gang rallies around him to help protect him. However, there will be another person stepping in to help out. Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will leave Starling City to visit Barry in this episode. Yay!
