PHOTOS: Finding #MrRobot… Take a Look at the Street Art Promotion for USA Network’s ‘Mr. Robot’

August 25, 2015 By T.J. Leave a Comment

Finding #MrRobot in these NYC streets wasn’t difficult, but it was a bit gritty. Get a glimpse of the street art promotional campaign for USA Network’s Mr. Robot.

To promote USA Network’s Mr. Robot, the network commissioned artist Logan Hicks and Joe Iurato to create a street art campaign to promote the show. And being HUGE fans of the show, even though it confuses the heck out of me and often wounds my sensibilities and soul, we went to find #MrRobot to see how the artwork held up.

Finding the locations for the Mr. Robot street art campaign wasn’t difficult. USA Network provided the majority of the addresses on its #MrRobot street art gallery website. But thanks to Jenn and Sarah over at The FANdemonium Network I didn’t even need to pull out a pen and paper or my keyboard to jot down the locations. They happily supplied me the full list and off me and pal @wifemothercrip went to search for #MrRobot aka Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek).

As with most street art gracing the walls of the fine NYC, there is a risk that your work might be defaced. However, lucky for us those #MrRobot’s that had accoutrements added to them didn’t deflect from the art, but enhanced it. Sadly, not all of the pieces are still viable and others (99 East 2nd Street) were a bit difficult to get a full picture of. Regardless, check out the Mr. Robot street art campaign we were able to capture.
