VIDEO/PHOTOS and GIVEAWAY: Sneak Peek into the Season 3 Finale of ‘Orphan Black’, “History Yet to Be Written”

June 20, 2015 By T.J. 17 Comments

The goodness of Season 3 of Orphan Black has passed by too quickly and the season finale is now upon us. (BOO!) Get a sneak peek into tonight’s final episode “History Yet to Be Written” airing on BBC America at 9 PM ET/PT. Plus, enter our giveaway for a Funko Pop! Orphan Black Helena vinyl figure.

Season 3 of Orphan Black have been filled with nail-biting moments. So before we get into what will occur in tonight’s Season 3 finale episode, let’s look back at my favorite or the most shocking moments of Orphan Black Season 3.

Episode 1: “The Weight of This Combination”

While in Castor custody Helena (Tatiana Maslany) has a dream where her sestras (Sarah, Alison, and Cosima), along with Felix (Jordan Gavaris) and Kira (Skyler Wexler) throw her a pastel colored baby shower. This was the perfect way to start off Orphan Black Season 3.

Episode 2: “Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis”

Seth (Ari Millen) is sick and while out with Rudy terrorizing Sarah, Kira, and Cal (Michiel Huisman) starts to lose it and to resolve the situation Rudy kills Seth. The Castor clones are brothers and seemed to have each other’s back. Yes, Rudy ended Seth’s pain by killing him, but I (like many) didn’t anticipate this happening.

Episode 3: “Formalized, Complex, and Costly”

Sarah finds out that the Castor clones and Leda clones are not only related, but they are brother and sister. And when she is confronted by Mark trying to secure the Henrik Johanssen files regarding Castor she let’s Mark know the truth.

Episode 4: “Newer Elements of Our Defense”

Mark needs assistance after being shot by Bonnie (Kristin Booth) and it is up to Sarah to remove the bullet. However, Sarah isn’t going to do this gross thing fully out of the kindness of her heart, she’s going to get Mark to spill the beans about what he was doing for Castor.

Episode 5: “Scarred by Many Past Frustrations”

I ship Cosima and Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) HARD, but those two are having issues times 100. Cosima used this time to get back out there and she meets Shay (Ksenia Solo) online. Their chemistry is EPIC. The two share a steamy kiss that had many of us swooning. There shouldn’t be anything suspect for how well things are going for Cosima with Shay, a woman she met online, right?!

Episode 6: “Certain Agony of the Battlefield”

Let’s talk about a scene that made me feel ALL THE FEELS! Paul (Dylan Bruce) finds out what Project Castor is truly trying to do and how far up the chain the orders are coming from. Trust is broken and Paul is determined to get Sarah to freedom. However, before he can he is injured and knows he can’t make it out with Sarah. Before pushing her to safety and getting his revenge, he let’s Sarah know that “It was never Beth I loved.” Oh, the feelings! Paul loved Sarah!!!

Episode 7: “Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate”

Helena may have forgiven her sestra Sarah, and this caused her to go back to retrieve her from the Castor compound. But her disgust for Mrs. S. (Maria Doyle Kennedy) was still at epic levels. In this Orphan Black behind-the-scenes video from BBC America we get to see Tatiana Maslany and Maria Doyle Kennedy discuss Mrs. S. and Helena’s relationship, while we see one of the best fights in the Orphan Black series.

Episode 8: “Ruthless in Purpose, and Insidious in Method”

Helena is living with the Hendrix crew and she may have a little crush on Donnie (Kristian Bruun). This scene between Donnie and Helena is the BEST!

Episode 9: “Insolvent Phantom of Tomorrow”

The most shocking moment of Orphan Black Season 3 was finding out that Mrs. S’s mother, Kendall Malone (Alison Steadman) was the Castor original. WHAT????

Now up is the Orphan Black Season 3 Finale!!!! Tonight on episode 10, “History Yet to Be Written”:

As Clone Club races towards the truth, Castor and Topside force Sarah to make uneasy alliances.  But there is some rest for the wicked, when Donnie gives Helena an unexpected ‘gift’, and the results of Alison’s candidacy finally come in. Even as team Leda takes a moment to breathe, change is afoot and a life hangs in the balance. (via BBC America)
