Billboards depicting The Hunger Games three finger salute were unveiled in 18 countries around the world, calling on fans to UNITE behind the against The Capitol.
Yesterday morning, Tributes took to social media to share a new development…in various cities around the world, huge Mockingjay Part 2 promo billboards with the three finger salute had gone up and encouraging us to “Unite D13. The Revolution is about All of Us.” (*EXCITE*)
Later on in an exclusive, MTV confirmed that the billboards were unveiled in 18 countries around the world, calling on The Hunger Game fans to unite behind the Mockingjay and join the revolution against The Capitol:
Countless times throughout the movies, we’ve seen the citizens of Panem use the salute to lend their silent support to Katniss. That’s why it’s only fitting that “Hunger Games” fans worldwide can unite today around brand new billboards featuring a mash-up of people of different genders, races and ages offering their own salute. The pictures include people from ages 8 to 80, from all over the world, offering their tribute to the worldwide phenomenon. (via MTV)
