You can let out that breath you were holding! Preacher will get a final season on AMC, and I can’t wait!
At the end of S3 of Preacher, Jesse has cut all ties to Angelville by killing Jody and his Gran’ma. He gained back Genesis and let loose hundreds of Humperdoos so no one know where the real Messiah is now either.
Tulip was able to help Eugene escape the bus to Hell and refused to help God in his attempts to get Jesse to stop messing with his grand plan. She goes to where Cassidy was living in NOLA only to find that the Grail has already destroyed everything and taken Cassidy.
Cassidy kills Eccarius and tries to figure out what to do with his followers, but the Grail kills most of them and takes Cassidy away. The season ends with Cassidy being taken to a Grail stronghold in the desert. Herr Starr is waiting for Jesse to show up and rescue him.
Oh, AND Hitler is running Hell and the Saint of Killers is after Jesse.
The new stills don’t offer much insight into the story, but we do see that Jesse is in the desert somewhere with Grail soldiers around him. Cassidy is still in his pit, but there are feathers around him. Did he finally get that angel that was flying above him? Tulip’s perched on a countertop, but we don’t really know where she’s at.
