It’s not a secret that I adore John Krasinski. I also really love Emily Blunt, so mark this down as one of the few ships I have that is actually doing okay. Now, they’re co-starring in a movie together? Not only that, but one that Krasinski wrote and directed?! YES. I don’t care if it’s a horror movie or that I’ll have nightmares for days. I’m there!
So, what is A Quiet Place about?
In the modern horror thriller A Quiet Place, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you. {Via Paramount}
Naturally, this makes me say:
BUT I will continue on because like I said previously, I’m a fangirl and this is what I do. Even if it’s not my jam, if my favorites are in it, I’m there.
The film will follow Lee and Evelyn Abbott and their two children, Marcus and Regan, as they try and stay safe after alien like creatures begin hunting down people by sound alone. This is terrifying because you know how hard it is not to make a noise. I loudly sigh on a regular basis, and you want to throw in kids? This is a parents worst nightmare.
Along the way, it appears that Evelyn is pregnant with the couple’s third child (?) and is in labor in a bathtub. There’s no way, y’all. NO WAY.
I say third child because in the trailers it looks like they already had three kids but one of them may have died? We’ll see. Take a look at all the stills below along with the official movie poster, and the trailers.
