The MCU is about to get even bigger as ABC debuts Marvel’s Inhumans on September 29th! Here’s a first look at the series and the official poster and first trailer!
If you’re familiar with Agents of SHIELD, you know a little about inhumans already. You’re also aware that there’s a bit of an argument brewing about what to do with them. This new series focuses on the inhuman royal family and their narrow escape after being attacked.
“Marvel’s Inhumans” explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return to their home before their way of life is destroyed forever.

I don’t know about you, but this new series has me very excited! The addition of inhumans in the broader scope of the MCU opens up doors for future exploration in the films as well as Agents of SHIELD.
In preparation for its network premiere, Inhumans will be getting an IMAX debut! Starting on September 1st, the first two episodes will play in IMAX theaters for a two week engagement. The two-hour season premiere is scheduled for Friday, September 29 on ABC and season one will run for eight episodes.
What are you most looking forward to with Inhumans? I admit, I very interested to see Iwan Rheon be another baddie outside of the Game of Thrones universe!
