Power premieres this weekend and everyone is dealing with the massive fall-out from Ghost’s arrest. Get a sneak peek of Sunday’s episode!

Power returns this weekend for Season 4, and I think we’re all still reeling from the Season 3 finale. It’s almost as if we’ve been hurtling to this moment where, despite Ghost’s attempts to be a good man, his clashes with the law would catch up with him. Ghost has been arrested for the murder of FBI Agent Greg Knox by his ex-girlfriend (and Assistant U.S. Attorney) Angela Valdes—a crime he actually did NOT commit!
Season 4 picks up right then, and over the course of ten episodes, we see that Ghost can’t outrun his past choices and increasing number of enemies. Unfortunately, his freedom and family’s safety are in constant jeopardy. Despite this, we will see Ghost continue his fight for redemption, which brings him into conflict with the Feds, the media, new allies, and old foes. Yet the biggest obstacle for Ghost is the one he’s been dealing with since the beginning: his internal struggle between the man he wants to be and the one he really is.
This new season will feature several guest stars, including: Sung Kang (Fast & Furious), Charlie Murphy (Are We There Yet, Night at the Museum, Chappelle’s Show), Brandon Victor Dixon (Broadway’s Hamilton), William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption, Die Hard 2, The Green Mile, Iron Man 3), and Larenz Tate (House of Lies, Rescue Me, Love Jones, Jason’s Lyric, Why Do Fools Fall In Love).
The Season Premiere airs Sunday, June 25 at 9:00pm ET|PT (also available starting at 12:01am ET on Starz app and STARZ On Demand).
In “When I Get Out” (written by Courtney A. Kemp, directed by Stefan Schwartz):
Having been wrongfully arrested for the murder of FBI Agent Greg Knox, James St. Patrick faces threats from both inside and outside the prison. Outside, Angela and the Feds assemble a team and begin to build their case against St. Patrick and Tasha scrambles to gather bail money for Ghost. Tommy navigates his new role as connect in the drug organization and enlists Dre’s help in recovering a kidnapped Tariq as Kanan and Jukebox discuss their plan for him in light of Ghost’s arrest. (via STARZ)
Watch these three clips from the upcoming show. In the first, Tommy goes to see Dre for information about who kidnapped Ghost’s son Tariq (YIKES!). In the second clip, Tasha visits Ghost in prison, and in the third, Angela catches up John Mak, the new DA, on the latest details of the case against Ghost.
