Why has Michael taken on this Kaniel Outis persona? Get a sneak peek of tonight’s new Prison Break!

Friends, we need to talk about last week’s Prison Break because OMG-so many questions!
Well, first, what’s most obvious is that, generally, Michael Scofield’s family and friends aren’t doing so well in his absence.
Lincoln is in Chicago, still rolling with questionable characters, who he seems to owe a lot of money to.
Sara is living in Ithaca, NY with her young son, Mike Jr., and her new husband.
However, something is set in motion when Linc starts asking questions regarding a letter that was sent to T-Bag on the day we was parolled from prison. This letter includes a photo of someone who looks like Michael and a cypher that leads Linc to Ogygia Prison in Yemen!
Things get even more complex when he Lincoln digs up Michael’s casket and there is no body… just a suit stuffed with paper. OMG!
Linc knows he’s on the right track to uncovering a conspiracy when he’s run off the road and almost killed in a car accident. Almost simultaneously, Sara is attacked in her home and her husband is shot? So, what’s going on?
Ultimately, Lincoln makes the decision to go to Yemen, and gets help from C-Note, who now dedicates his life to Islam (as a religion of peace) and combatting radicalism. Sucre even makes an appearance, and offers to join Lincoln and help them get to Ogygia via his cargo ship business. But Linc and C-Note fly to Yemen and meet trouble as soon as they get off the plane. Someone is tracking them and trying to prevent them from reaching Ogygia! With help from one of C-Note’s contacts (and in exchange for his U.S. passport), Lincoln is able to make his way to the prison.
When they arrive, the officers confirm that there’s no one there by the name of Michael Scofield. But when Linc shows them the photo, they call the person Kaniel Outis. Upon uttering the name, you can tell something is wrong. Who is Kaniel Outis? Well, he’s a terrorist who is in league with ISIL. Yet, the officers still let them meet Kaniel… when he arrives, Linc freaks out, because it is Michael! He even has a new set of tattoos on his hands! Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to recognize Lincoln or C-Note, “My name isn’t Michael and I don’t know who you are.”
Yet, Linc is convinced that this is Michael and is determined to break him out of Ogygia, but as C-Note says: “Who in the hell are we breaking free?”
Meanwhile, in the U.S., T-Bag has experimental surgery to get a new, metal hand. Who paid for it? According to the surgeon: “OUTIS. It’s Greek for ‘nobody'”
What is going on???
So many questions, so much mystery, and twists and turns… I love every moment!
In tonight’s episode “Kaniel Outis” (written by Paul Scheuring, directed by Maja Vrvilo):
As Lincoln and C-Note search for the “Sheik of Light,” Michael and his cellmate, Whip, attempt an escape from Ogygia. Meanwhile, Sara’s investigation into Michael’s reappearance leads her to the state department and an uneasy reunion with Paul Kellerman. (via FOX)
Maybe we’ll learn how Michael took on this Kaniel Outis identity?
Check out this sneak peek of the upcoming show, which includes behind-the-scenes interviews with Sarah Wayne Callies and Wentworth Miller. Sara is trying to understand if Michael is alive, why would he abandon his family? And then Michael, a different man now, is playing a long game.
The second video (via TV Guide exclusive) is a clip where C-Note tells Linc more about Kaniel Outis. In the middle of the conversation, someone slides a note under their door.
A paper swan! From Michael?! What does the note say???
Take a look at that and 15 images from “Kaniel Outis”, and live tweet the new Prison Break return with me on @WeSoNerdy!
