Thursday night is one of the *best* nights for TV, mostly because of Shondaland. And don’t get me wrong: I’ve been enjoying Grey’s Anatomy‘s non-stop drama and the crazy who’s #UnderTheSheet mystery of How to Get Away with Murder (*whispers* it’s either Frank or Nate, right???).
I’m even enjoying Notorious and the art-imitating-life storylines regarding the impact on media in our politics and criminal justice system.
With that said, I miss Scandal SO much. I miss Liv and the OPA, strutting around and kicking ass for the Republic. And lord knows that after this week, I might not mind a Papa Pope like figure sweeping in with B-613 and saving us from ourselves. *sigh* I digress…
Anywho, last week ABC announced that Scandal will be back for Season 6 starting Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 9:00pm!
Even better, we got a teaser trailer, which shows us that things are about to get even more intense…
They’ll also be getting the results of the election with the Mellie/Jake ticket vs. Francisco Vargas/Cyrus. There will be literal explosions, secret struggles for power, and some Olitz/Fitzlivia sweetness. Take a look:

Also, ABC announced that the Grey’s and HTGAWM winter finales will air on Thursday, November 17, but will return for new episodes on January 19 too.
