PREVIEW: 'Once Upon a Time' Season 6, Episode 7 "Heartless"

The Evil Queen wants Snow and Charming’s heart and tonight (with Rumple’s help), she just might get it. YIKES! Get a sneak peek of tonight’s new Once Upon a Time.

Last week’s Once Upon a Time (“Dark Waters“) might be one of my favorite episodes ever.

We spend quite a bit of time with Killian/Captain Hook in the past and present. How interesting that his time with Captain Nemo brings Hook back to his half-brother Liam?! And of course it shouldn’t surprise us that Hook’s quest for vengeance against the Crocodile AKA Rumple (for killing Milah and taking his hand) is equally matched by Liam’s desire for revenge against the man who killed his father (that is Hook!). Unfortunately, things get even worse when Liam finds out who Hook is…and then when Captain Nemo tries to prevent him from killing Hook, he accidentally kills Nemo.

So, in the present, when Killian is dealing with the Emma/Savior drama and Henry finding out he kept the shears (thanks to his Evil Queen mom), the Nautilus returns and Liam (now the captain) is still coming for his revenge! Thank goodness for Henry intervening to stop Liam’s attempt to kill Killian. And thank goodness that, in the end, Liam is reunited with Nemo… family once again.

While I’m happy to see some form of reconciliation between Killian and Liam, it’s actually the Killian/Henry relationship that makes me so happy. They both love Emma and want a happy ending with her, which means making their new family work. And I’m glad they’re both on the same page about that.

In other developments:

We finally find out what happened to Agrabah, which literally disappeared. Thanks to Emma, Aladdin is ready to reclaim his Savior status and work with Jasmine, but saving their home is going to be one tough mission.

Annnnnd the Evil Queen gets ahold of the magic shears (after Killian and Henry toss them into the sea), who then gives them to Rumple. She wants his help to get Snow White’s heart, but what does Rumple plan to do with the shears?

In tonight’s episode “Heartless” (written by Jane Espenson and directed by Ralph Hemecker), the Evil Queen might get exactly what she wants:

THE EVIL QUEEN FINALLY GETS HER ULTIMATE REVENGE— In a flashback to the Enchanted Forest, Bandit Snow dodges a bounty hunter known as the Woodcutter while shepherd David goes on a fateful journey to sell his family’s farm. In Storybrooke, the Evil Queen threatens to destroy the town and everyone in it unless Snow and David surrender their hearts. As Emma, Hook and Henry prepare to defend Storybrooke, Snow, David and Regina search for a magical sapling created by the first spark of true love. Regina uses Gold’s and the Evil Queen’s burgeoning romance against them, and Zelena offers Belle some friendly advice. (via ABC)
