In Storybrooke, Emma tries to convince Aladdin to help Jasmine and Agrabah. And in flashbacks we learn about Killian’s time with Captain Nemo. Get a sneak peek of tonight’s Once Upon a Time!
Last week’s Once Upon a Time, aptly titled “Street Rats” took us to the world of Agrabah where we saw Jasmine help Aladdin to learn the truth about being the Savior “the diamond in the rough”. In the end, he swooped in on the Magic Carpet and stopped Jafar from harming Jasmine, the Sultan, and taking Agrabah for himself. Yes, it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship between Aladdin and Jasmine…
Yet, in the present, Jasmine worked with the Heroes to try and discover whether or not Aladdin died. It turned out he had been hiding in the Enchanted Forrest/Storybrooke this whole time. When Jafar gifted him a pair of magic shears to cut away magic, Aladdin used it. Despite his hesitation, Aladdin reunited with Jasmine, who told him that Agrabah was in danger and needed his Savior gifts… UHOH.
Meanwhile, thanks to some serious deception from the Evil Queen (camouflaging herself as Archie), she forced Emma into telling her family the truth about her tremors and visions.
At least now we all know the truth and Emma can stop lying. But what does EQ plan to do with this information? Can Aladdin help Emma figure out a way to survive the curse that seems to plague Saviors? And can Killian truly forgive Emma for keeping the truth from him?
I’m actually extra concerned about Killian because instead of tossing the shears into the sea, as he promised Emma, he still has them.
Well tonight, flashbacks will tell us more about Killian’s past; and in the present, we learn what happened to Agrabah. In “Dark Waters” (written by Andrew Chambliss and Brigitte Hales, directed by Robert Duncan):
EMMA IMPLORES ALADDIN TO RECONNECT WITH JASMINE AND DISCOVER WHAT HAPPENED TO AGRABAH, AND, IN THE PAST, HOOK FINDS HIMSELF KIDNAPPED BY THE MYSTERIOUS CAPTAIN NEMO—Emma tries to convince Aladdin to work with Jasmine to help Agrabah, while Regina teams up with Snow and David to free Archie from Zelena. The Evil Queen sows suspicion between Henry and Hook, even as Mr. Gold reminds her of his most important lesson. Meanwhile, in the past, Hook finds himself kidnapped by the mysterious Captain Nemo and held captive inside his legendary submarine, the Nautilus. (via ABC)
