As part of the Beauty and the Beast 25th Anniversary edition, Disney is giving us a sneak peek of the 2017 live-action film! Watch a clip, including a BTS interview with Bill Condon and a cast table read.
Earlier this summer we learned that, in celebration of Beauty and the Beast‘s 25th anniversary, Disney is releasing a special edition, out on Digital HD/Disney Movies Anywhere and blu-ray/DVD this month! (September 6 and September 20, respectively).
We can expect tons of special features, including FOUR versions of the original 1991 film, behind-the-scenes interviews with the voice actors, and Menken & Friends: 25 Years of Musical Inspiration a discussion with legendary music composers from classic and future Disney films, including Alan Menken, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda!

However, the bonus feature I’m most excited about is the sneak peek of the upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast, directed by Bill Condon, and starring Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens (Beast), and Luke Evans (Gaston).
Today Disney shared a clip from the longer sneak peek, which shows us parts of an interview with Condon about his excitement to film a live-action Beauty and the Beast given advances in technology.
We also get to see glimpses of a cast table read Emma and Dan totally capturing the Belle/Beast chemistry… plus they’re talking about books!
