SHERLOCK Cast Shares Season 4 Trailer at SDCC

July 27, 2016 By Funmbi Leave a Comment

The SHERLOCK Season 4 trailer was revealed during Comic-Con and something dangerous is coming our way… watch now, plus see highlights from the SDCC panel!

Just a couple weeks ago, we got our first look at Sherlock Holmes in Season 4 with a potential new friend, a bloodhound.

Well, at San Diego Comic-Con this past week, SHERLOCK’s cast and creators kept the good stuff coming.

Benedict Cumberbatch might have been in town to promote Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange film, but that didn’t stop him from joining fellow cast members and creators for his first ever SHERLOCK panel.

Benedict sat down with Mark Gatiss, Amanda Abbington, Steven Moffat, and Sue Vertue to discuss the fourth series. If you’re curious about how they decided who got to come to Comic-Con this year, it involved a super intense game of Clue…

Benedict got to go to Comic Con, so did Steven, Mark and Sue but how did they decide who else got to go? #SDCC2016https://t.co/uO26xjZBAZ

*giggles madly*

Glad that Amanda got to make the trip!

Chris Hardwicke moderated the panel, which you can watch at the end of this post.

We learned that they’re about two weeks from finishing Season 4. They also talked about the evolution of the show’s characters and their process for making sure each episode remains fresh. There’s also a particularly funny moment where Benedict responds to a comment about a Dr. Who/SHERLOCK crossover with a hilarious political impersonation (starting at 6:30).

Even more exciting, the SHERLOCK Season 4 trailer was revealed and we can tell that something/someone dangerous is coming our way and literally every single character seems to experience some sort of fear. Watch it now:

This season looks so dark! And after The Abominable Bride, that’s saying something!

Benedict, Mark, and Amanda gave us one final teaser in the form of this picture where the three are holding up names that will be significant in Season 4… Thatcher, Smith, Sherinford.

We know that SHERLOCK Season 4 is coming sometime in 2017, and hopefully news on a specific premiere date is around the corner.

What are you most looking forward to seeing in the fourth series? Share your thoughts in comments!
