HBO releases the new trailer for Game of Thrones Season 6, and there are several promises for violence. Watch now!
As we get closer to the Game of Thrones‘ Season 6 premiere (April 24), we’re getting more insight into what we can expect for the series.
Well, this afternoon, HBO released a brand-new trailer that starts to answer a lot of the questions Season 5 left us with.
We see Jon Snow lying in a pool of blood, seemingly dead (because I refuse to believe that he won’t be resurrected somehow!); Jamie and Cersei are reunited and plotting revenge against everyone who has hurt them (the Sand Snakes and High Sparrow are both on that list); Dany is a Dothraki prisoner (don’t they recognize their Khaleesi?!); and more. All the while, James Vincent McMorrow serenades us with his song “Wicked Game”. Watch now (Red Band, for mature audiences):

“I choose violence.”
This doesn’t surprise me at all! In fact, I’m pretty sure Cersei and Franken-Mountain are going to cause a whole lot of violence before this season ends. At the same time, we can see that High Sparrow won’t run away; he intends to bring down the Lannisters’ rule in King’s Landing.
Can we talk about that final scene between Bran and the Night’s King?! I’m not sure if those two are actually face-to-face…it’s more likely Bran is embedded in a flashback/flashforward scene.
What are your thoughts about the trailer?
