“From the humans behind Despicable Me” comes new a NEW fully-animated feature film, The Secret Life of Pets hitting theaters on July 8, 2016, and we have a bunch a goodness from the film to share with you all.

Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures team up for the fifth time to bring us fully-animated feature film, The Secret Life of Pets. This upcoming animated comedy will let us peek into the lives of our pets after we leave for school, work, or just to go about our day away from their cuteness, and provide an epic adventure as well. The new animated film stars comedians Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, and Kevin Hart who are making their animated feature-film debuts and co-stars Steve Coogan, Ellie Kemper, Bobby Moynihan, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Jenny Slate, and Albert Brooks.

Illumination Entertainment founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, who produced hits like Despicable Me and Terminator 2: Judgment Day produce The Secret Life of Pets directed by Chris Renaud and co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul, and Ken Daurio. So far Illumination and Universal have released two trailers for the film that have me so ready to learn everything I can about Max (Louis C.K.), Duke (Eric Stonestreet), Chloe (Lake Bell), Gidget (Jenny Slate), and Snowball (Kevin Hart).
