20th Century Fox Debuts New Movie Trailers During Super Bowl 50

20th Century Fox debuted new teaser trailers last nightduring Super Bowl 50, including: Deadpool, Eddie the Eagle, X-Men Apocalypse, and Independence Day: Resurgence. Watch now!

Even if you’re not a football fan, watching Super Bowl is still a highlight every year. Besides tuning in to get your groove on during the Halftime Show (weren’t Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Beyonce amazeballs?!), it’s a must that we check out the newest TV commercials.

Interestingly, this year, movie trailers also took the main stage. In addition to the new teaser for (Disney) Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, 20th Century Fox also debuted new commercials for several films during this year’s Super Bowl, including Eddie the Eagle, Deadpool, X-Men Apocalypse, and Independence Day: Resurgence. Deadpool
Release: February 12, 2016
Synopsis: Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Eddie the Eagle
Release: February 26, 2016
Synopsis: Inspired by true events, Eddie the Eagle is a feel-good story about Michael “Eddie” Edwards (Taron Egerton), an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself – even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (Hugh Jackman), Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of sports fans around the world by making an improbable and historic showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. X-Men: Apocalypse
Release: May 27, 2016
Synopsis: Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.
