Suits returns for Season 5B and things are about to go from bad to worse for Mike Ross. Get a sneak peek of tonight’s winter premiere, airing at 10:00pm ET|PT on USA Network.
Well Sutiors, the moment we’ve been dreading since Season 1 has finally come to pass—at the very end of the Season 5 mid-season finale, Mike Ross was arrested by the police for conspiracy to commit fraud. The ridiculous thing was that he had just decided to stop living the charade, but it seems that that decision came too late. Of course there are so many questions.
First, who in the world turned Mike in? The official Suits USA site is running an interesting poll (HERE) and the results are quite telling. First, they have eliminated Dana Scott, Harold, Jack Soloff, Jenny (Griffin), Jessica, and Robert Zane as possibilities. Of those who remain, most of our fellow Suitors believe it was either Claire, Trevor, or……..Laura Zane! While the first two are most probable, it’s crazy to think that it might have actually been Rachel’s mother! How would Mrs. Zane have learned the truth? Would she turn Mike into the police to protect Rachel? Is Laura really upset that she can’t throw Rachel a big wedding? (I kid, I kid).
It’s fun to speculate. I mean, I’ve already assumed that Mike was arrested for falsifying a Harvard law degree and practicing law without actually passing the bar. But now that I think about the last five and a half seasons, Mike has had several shady dealings. So really, this arrest might not be what we’ve been expecting.
In any event, now time is ticking and the Pearson/Specter/Litt team has to figure out how to free Mike!

Hmmmm, the synopsis is still kind of vague with “the crime for which he stands accused”…
Check out two sneak peeks from the upcoming show. In the first Harvey goes straight to the source, Anita Gibbs, the prosecutor who had Mike arrested. And Ms. Gibbs is playing hardball because she has no intention of even letting Mike out on bail. So Mike is accused of hacking into the bar… YIKES! And Louis has a good point… it they’re coming after Mike, what’s to stop Anita Gibbs from prosecuting those who “aided and abetted”?
The remaining six episodes of Season 5 are going to be riveting (and maybe even heart-breaking too).
