VIDEO: Sneak Peek of Michael B. Jordan in 'Creed', Coming Thanksgiving Week

Creed hits theaters in a little less than two weeks! Preview the film in a new a behind-the-scenes featurette and SEVEN movie clips.

As the holiday season commences, one of the things we can look forward to (in addition to family time and delicious food) is all the wonderful TV movie marathons! Each year I make sure to set aside time to watch Rocky I, II, III, and IV (my faves), but I’m REALLY excited that we’ll be able to revisit this world in the new Creed film!

Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis Johnson (the son of Apollo Creed), who reaches out to Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) to be his trainer. We watch Adonis struggle with his father’s legacy, as he ties to make his own name in the boxing world.

Warner Bros. has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette (“Generations”) where Jordan, Stallone, and director Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station) talk about their personal interest in this spinoff project. Coogler speaks about his interest in exploring the Creed family in the aftermath of Apollo’s death, while Stallone and Jordan share their excitement about taking the Rocky story in a new direction for a new generation:

Thanks to Collider (courtesy of Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, and MGM Pictures) we can watch SEVEN new clips from Creed! We get glimpses of Adonis meeting Rocky for the first time and the eventual deepening of their relationship; Adonis with his girlfriend Bianca (Tessa Thompson) and later with his mother (Phylicia Rashad), trying to decide whether to take on his father’s name and box; plus Adonis battling in the ring, and more:
