Tributes, we just got our first clip from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, and we’re right in the thick of the revolution! In the video, Boggs (Mahershala Ali), Lieutenant Jackson (Michelle Forbes), and Cressida (Natalie Dormer) introduce us to Squad 451, a.k.a. the Star Squad. Going from the name, you can probably tell that Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is part of this group, along with Gale (Liam Hemsworth), and Finnick (Sam Claflin). Members of Squad 451 are considered high-profile targets, so even though they won’t be directly engaging in combat, Boggs assures the team that there are still big dangers ahead once they infiltrate the Capitol. Finnick has the right of it! These “pods” that Boggs mentions sound horrific…just hearing the word “mutts” and thinking about the books makes me shiver from fear and nerves! With that said, did you notice that Gale seems disappointed not to be part of a combat squad? Alas, gotta protect the face of the revolution…
