Outlander: Season 1, Volume 2 is coming to DVD/Blu-ray on September 29 with lots of special content. Watch sneak peeks of the deleted and extended scenes plus behind-the-scenes featurettes.
During Outlander’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, Ron Moore announced that Outlander: Season 1, Volume 2 Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray would be available starting September 29. In addition to the final 8 episodes of Season 1B, the blu-ray will have deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a cast gag reel (which you can preview HERE)! As OUTLANDER continues, Claire and Jamie’s relationship is tested by ruthless Redcoats, volatile clan politics, and a brutal witch trial, which force Jamie and Claire to escape to a new home. Just when their life as a married couple begins to take shape, Jamie is once again drawn into Captain Randall’s darkness. Ultimately, Claire discovers there is a fate worse than death as she struggles to save Jamie’s heart, as well as his soul.

Now that September 29 is right around the corner (NEXT WEEK!), Sony Pictures Home Entertainment/STARZ has partnered with several media outlets to share sneak peeks of the blu-ray bonus content.
First, Entertainment Weekly shares an exclusive deleted scene from “By the Pricking of My Thumbs” where Jamie tells Claire that the Duke of Sandringham has asked him to be his second in a duel with the MacDonalds. Claire doesn’t think the Duke can be trusted; however, Jamie is up to the task:
Outlander‘s official twitter account also shares an extended scene from “The Reckoning“. Jamie and Claire have just returned to Castle Leoch and, while he is upset with Colum’s cold welcome, she is still upset about the earlier spanking:
