During today’s The Orginals SDCC 2015 panel, cast and creators gave fans a preview of the upcoming Season 3. See 50 exclusive photos and watch the full panel.
Earlier, the cast and creators of The Originals brought a little bit of NOLA to San Diego during their Comic-Con panel! Executive Producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci were joined onstage by Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Leah Pipes, Danielle Campbell, and Yusuf Gatewood.
The panel kicked off with a video montage highlighting our favorite Mikaelson moments over the last two seasons. Interestingly, the video ended with a scene that was cut from May’s Season 2 finale, which introduced us to next season’s baddies—it looks like vampires that Mikaelsons have made over the centuries will be binding together to figure out how to take down the Originals…yikes!
Other highlights include: JoMo speculating about how Klaus would raise Hope without Hayley, and sharing that Freya (Riley Voelkel) would play a critical role (Julie also teased that Season 3 begins with a violent custody battle); Daniel discussing the complexity of the Haylijah relationship, ultimately saying how he believed Elijah will remain devoted to Hayley and Hope; both Leah and JoMo sharing their thoughts on the trajectory of the Klaus/Cami relationship and how both characters are more similar than most might imagine; Yusuf teasing that Vincent would become a mentor to Davina, though she might not appreciate the advice; and Narducci talking about the possibility of a TVD/TO crossover episode.
