The MTV Fandom Awards will return to SDCC 2015 for a second year on Thursday, July 9 at Petco Park with Tyler Posey and Bella Thorne as co-hosts. Check out the list of nominees and cast your vote.
The countdown to San Diego Comic-Con is on! Little by little, studios and networks have been confirming which shows and films will this year’s panels. While the full schedule hasn’t been released quite yet, there’s still reason to get excited. This is especially because earlier today MTV announced that the Fandom Awards will be coming back!
Get ready, fandoms: the only award show that celebrates you and all of your shipping, Tweeting, Tumbling, and overall stanning is coming back for its second year at San Diego Comic-Con. (via MTV)
Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Posey and THE DUFF actress Bella Thorne will be hosting, so you know it will be a blast! We can expect awesome musical performances, surprise guest-stars, good food, and fun.
Like last year, the event is open all SDCC badge holders and will take place on Thursday, July 9 at Petco Park. It will then air as the MTV Fandom Awards Special on Sunday, July 12 at 8 pm ET|PT on MTV.
MTV also shared the full list of nominees and includes new categories like “Best New Fandom of the Year,” “Social Superstar of the Year”, and “Best Revival Fandom of the Year”.
