Today, on June 8th, a little while ago, a lovely woman by the name of Funmbi was born to the world. And I wanted to celebrate her greatness here on We So Nerdy!
Funmbi, Happy Birthday!!!
For some time I wanted to get back into blogging, but focusing on entertainment news versus lifestyle blogging. Upon meeting Funmbi in 2011, I knew if I ever jumped into this venture she would be the first person I would ask. Funmbi is intelligent, funny, a fellow fan-girl, and most importantly someone that I could trust fully to enter into a partnership with.
So shortly after Funmbi’s birthday in June 2013, with peach vodka and sprite in my belly, I approached her about the topic and boom We So Nerdy was born. It took some time for us to launch, but when we did you best believe Funmbi was raring to go. She took the bull by the horns and put out awesome posts for our readers fan flail with us over. And as I partner I beam with pride over everything she has done and will continue to do for We So Nerdy.
As her friend, I’ve been blessed by her wisdom, her kindness, and her ability to help me see the light at the end of the tunnel. She has guided me through some extremely rough times, prayed for me and my family, and just been an all-around amazeballs person.
So please take a moment to wish Funmbi a Happy Birthday!
