VIDEO: First Look at Josh Brolin and Jake Gyllenhaal in 'Everest'

Universal Pictures released the first official trailer and poster for the epic adventure film Everest, starring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Everest hits theaters in September 2015.

Calling all action-adventure fans, I have a film that you’ll definitely want to have on your radar for the upcoming fall!

Inspired by the incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, Everest documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.

The epic adventure is directed by Baltasar Kormákur and stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson, and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Interestingly, the film was shot on location in Nepal on the foothills of Mount Everest and also the Italian Alps. Take a look at the trailer:

WOW. How many of us have climbing Mount Everest on our bucket lists? I mean, it would be incredible to be able to accomplish a goal like that and see those views firsthand…but so much risk! And that tagline, “human beings are not meant to survive at the cruising altitude of a 747″…sounds ominous!
