VIDEO: First Look at 'The Last Witch Hunter'--Coming October 2015

We’re still at the beginning of the 2015 summer movie season, but it’s never too early to start thinking about upcoming films, especially when they look as good as this one! Last week, Lionsgate gave us a first look at The Last Witch Hunter, an action-packed fantasy film coming this October. In this movie we’ll get to see Vin Diesel battle the most horrifying witches in history. Elijah Wood, Rose Leslie, Lotte Verbeek, and Michael Caine also star in The Last Witch Hunter. The modern world holds many secrets, but the most astounding secret of all is that witches still live amongst us; vicious supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world. Armies of witch hunters battled the unnatural enemy across the globe for centuries, including Kaulder, a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful Queen Witch, decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the Queen curses Kaulder with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Today Kaulder is the only one of his kind remaining, and has spent centuries hunting down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost loved ones. However, unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Queen Witch is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race.

That was only a minute, but SUPER intense—Vin wielding a flaming sword, Michael Caine as a priest, and it was great to see Rose Leslie again (LOVED her in Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones). I’m definitely looking forward to seeing an full trailer…and getting a glimpse of what the witches look like! What did you think?
